About Us

Founded in the spring of 2011, Preservation Miami strives to be the leading voice of all things preservation in the Miami-Dade community. Centered on the core principal of being inclusive to, and representing of, the wide and diverse cultural communities that make up the "woven tapestry" that is Miami, Preservation Miami will promote and advocate for the preservation of historical and architecturally significant structures and sites across the entire Miami-Dade region. 

In a time that a great amount of fragmentation exists as it pertains to Preservation efforts and community organizations, Preservation Miami will serve as the Umbrella organization, on the county level, to bring unity and coordination to our cause while helping to provide resources to local/municipal-based organizations.
